Choose a fragrance you both enjoy and make room for an unhurried shared massage. Pairmuse Melt brings candlelight, fragrance and warm body oil together in one vessel, so the whole evening comes out of a single object on the table.
The warm oil and skin feel
As the candle burns, the plant-based lipids and rich shea butter melt into a silky, nourishing massage oil. It is formulated to glide smoothly across skin without friction or drag, absorbing cleanly to leave skin soft and conditioned without a waxy or greasy residue.
The science of warm oil
Cold bottled oil causes surface tension and can leave skin feeling clammy. A warm botanical blend melts on contact, allowing the muscle fibers to relax and helping rich shea butter and jojoba seed oil soften the outer skin barrier for deeper hydration.
Never an ordinary room candle
Conventional room candles use paraffin wax that burns at skin-scorching heat and hardens into a brittle crust. Pairmuse Melt is crafted strictly as a leave-on cosmetic treatment from low-melting plant lipids and skin-safe fragrance that stays supple and absorbs like a body butter.
One considered vessel
Black glazed ceramic with a warm cream interior, a pouring lip and a matching ceramic lid. The lip is there so the warm oil goes where you mean it to, and the lid covers the blend between evenings.
Lighting it
Light the wick and let a shallow pool of oil form around it while you both settle in. Burn the candle on a level, heat-resistant surface, keep it clear of anything that can catch fire, and never leave it unattended or within reach of children and pets.
Pouring it
Pour a little into your palm first, so you are both happy with the warmth before it goes anywhere else. Then take your time, and swap when you want to. Stop if either of you finds it uncomfortable, and keep it away from broken or irritated skin.

What is a massage candle?
Pairmuse Melt is a candle crafted from skin-nourishing plant lipids, shea butter and jojoba oil that melts into a warm body oil for massage. Light it, let a shallow pool of warm oil form, and pour it into your palm when you are both ready for an unhurried massage.
Can we share one candle?
Choose one fragrance for your shared ritual, or explore a set. A Duo contains two candles; it does not mean that each partner needs a separate candle. How much oil you use is up to the two of you.
How do we choose a scent?
Rose & Oud is floral and woody. Pear & Bergamot is fruity and citrus-led. Orchid & White Tea is soft floral and tea-inspired. Choose the scent character you both enjoy.

Bottled oil is ready to dispense at room temperature. A massage candle combines candlelight and fragrance with a freshly melted, comfortably warm botanical oil that offers extended massage glide and absorbs cleanly into skin without a greasy residue.
What comes with a candle?
A Single is one 170 g massage candle in a black ceramic vessel with a cream interior, pouring lip and matching lid. Duo, Trio and Quartet sets contain two, three and four candles respectively, with a fragrance choice for each candle.
