No. A room candle is made to scent a room and its wax is not meant for skin. Pairmuse Melt is made as a body product: the blend melts into warm oil you pour out and massage in. Never use a room candle as body oil.

Bottled oil is ready to dispense at room temperature. A massage candle combines candlelight and fragrance with a freshly melted, comfortably warm botanical oil that offers extended massage glide and absorbs cleanly into skin without a greasy residue.

For the shared occasion. Lighting it, waiting for it, pouring it and taking turns are the ritual — the candlelight and the fragrance are part of the evening rather than a bottle you reach for. Bottled oil may suit you better if you would rather skip the waiting and pour straight away.

Choose one fragrance for your shared ritual, or explore a set. A Duo contains two candles; it does not mean that each partner needs a separate candle. How much oil you use is up to the two of you.

The oil is comfortably warm and soothing on skin. Always pour a small amount into your palm first to check the warmth before massaging.

No. There is zero paraffin or petroleum wax in Pairmuse Melt. It is a solid blend of plant oils and pure shea butter that melts into a true body oil. As you massage it in, it absorbs cleanly into the skin, leaving a soft, non-greasy satin finish.

That depends on how much oil you use and how long you take, so we would rather not put a number on it. A Single is 170 g of blend, and you only melt the part you use — the rest sets again under the lid for the next evening.

A Single is one 170 g massage candle in a black ceramic vessel with a cream interior, pouring lip and matching lid. Duo, Trio and Quartet sets contain two, three and four candles respectively, with a fragrance choice for each candle.

We offer exchanges for candles that arrive damaged. Contact [email protected] with your order reference and clear photos of the damaged candle and its packaging within one day of receiving your order.
